Conscious Orbit started when founder Ellen Murphy took a step back from her long-time career in communications and began thinking about creative ways to offer high-quality (and beautiful) products for the environmentally conscious consumer.
With a distaste for consumer waste, upcycling vintage (mostly Mid-Century Modern) glassware into high-quality scented soy candles ignited the creative spark leading to the development of a full-line of plantable scented soy candles at palatable price points.
With easy access to New York City's Flower District, the line of plantable candles consist of the trendiest designs in plant pots, turned into scented candles complete with a seed starter candle duster and soil pod. Once the candle has burned through, insert the soil pod and candle duster to germinate and grow wildflowers at home.
Transformation and adaptability are at the core of Conscious Orbit's candles whether vintage or plantable.
